This Land Rover Defender 90 presents as an excellent vehicle cosmetically and mechanically, with very few items requiring attention. While showing little wear from being driven both on and off road, it exhibits very good care by dealer and specialist providers to correct any issues and for scheduled maintenance. The paint finish is very good, with only rare and very minor blemishes and light corrosion less than would be considered normal for the model, especially one that was rebuilt years ago. The topcoat is shiny and appears well-kept. The bodywork and aluminum sheet metal show no issues aside from very small blemishes and are better than expected for the age and vehicle’s intended use. Any other service has been performed by marque specialists and reputable providers for tires, glass, etc. The Rover starts and settles to a smooth idle, showing normal temperatures and levels of all fluids in all types of driving. Acceleration is smooth and braking is as well. The gearbox appears to make shifts accurately in city driving and on a short highway speed drive. Steering is smooth and straight, and suspension operates as it should and includes aftermarket upgrades including a skid plate and other protections for offroad use.
