This Land Rover Defender 90 presents as a better-than-new example in many ways due to a recent restoration that was executed to high standards. Paint finish and panel fitment appear to be above original for a Defender. Odometer reading indicates very low mileage since restoration.

The Defender is a right-hand drive UK or Colonial market vehicle that has been imported into the USA, with proper scrutiny, documentation, and a Colorado title. As with most UK and colonial market vehicles, it is right-hand drive, with distance and speed in miles on the speedometer.

Overall inspection shows a recent restoration of all systems, and apparently with a very solid original vehicle or well-executed repairs. Specialist inspection reveals little to no mechanical service requirements or remedial service items needed. Main drivetrain components, engine, gearbox, transfer case, and axles seem to be in working order and to high standards. There appear to be no major mechanical, internal, or driveline needs.

Interior appears to be complete and, as new or better, is clean and well finished with matching seat trim front and rear. Rubber floor areas also appear to be in excellent condition, as are the metal floors underneath. Gauges and instrument function appear to be normal, seat surfaces are complete with no damage, and all glass is present and with no damage. Window and door handles and latches function properly. Doors open and close as they should. The interior of the cargo bed shows well, with less than normal usage apparent, including two side-mounted passenger seats. In keeping with the overall condition, the soft top appears as new with clear plastic windows and excellent fitment.

The exterior finish appears to be relatively new, and its finish is clean and glossy, with no crash damage evident. The exterior color is an original Defender color or close, and generally a very appealing color for Defenders. All bodywork and accessories appear to have been finished to very high standards, and the exterior presents extremely well. The doors and tailgate show no corrosion on their undersides, both doors and the tailgate are straight and operate as they should. Undercarriage shows no signs of repaired corrosion, and surfaces generally have a thin coat of paint or powder coating, leaving no speculation as to what may lie underneath. All components and chassis members appear straight and solid.

Mechanical components also appear to be well serviced or near new as part of the restoration. The engine starts easily and quickly, settles to a smooth idle, and moves the Defender smoothly and with ample power. The clutch and gearbox operate smoothly as they should. Brakes and steering are also in line with the rest of the vehicle in terms of operation and ease of use. The radiator appears to be upgraded, and all hoses and belts are excellent. The engine and drivetrain are smooth and have no alarming noises, leaks, or evident needs.
